Mary brings her measured thoughtfulness, intelligence, and passion for growth to co-facilitating leadership retreats and supporting other consulting projects. Prior to working with McPherson Consulting Group, Mary worked as a civil appellate lawyer for seven years. During that time, Texas Monthly’s Super Lawyer edition named Mary a “Texas Rising Star” four years in a row and, in 2017, recognized Mary as one of the “Top 50 Women Lawyers” in Texas. She is committed to living a life in which her actions express her priorities and her work reflects her values.
A Fort Worth native, Mary attended college at the University of Southern California before continuing her studies at The University of Texas School of Law. Mary met her husband during law school, and they have three young children together.
In her free time, Mary soaks up time with her family, reads books, engages in meaningful conversation with friends, and serves on the boards of several community organizations, including Fort Worth Country Day, Performing Arts Fort Worth, and the Multicultural Alliance.
